Black Cherry Punch x Tropicana Cookies
Balanced Hybrid
Breeder: Blockhead Buds (San Diego), selected by Mobilejay
Super Boof has one of the wildest origin stories in modern weed. The strain was originally bred by Blockhead Buds, a mysterious San Diego cultivator who dropped it in 2019 under the name Blockberry. Blockhead handed off just five seeds to his friend Mobilejay, a Michigan grower and cannabis influencer, who popped them, hunted phenos, and gave the standout cut the irreverent name "Super Boof"—a tongue-in-cheek flip of street slang that usually means low-grade flower. The cut blew up in 2021 and 2022, swept back-to-back ice water hash trophies at The Ego Clash in 2023 and 2024, and was named Leafly's Strain of the Year in 2024. The genetics are top-shelf in their own right: Black Cherry Punch (Black Cherry Pie x Purple Punch) brings the deep cherry and dark berry tones, while Tropicana Cookies (GSC x Tangie, courtesy of Harry Palms at Oni Seed Co.) lays the bright, candy-orange citrus on top. The result is a chunky, frost-coated bud with deep green and purple hues, a myrcene-dominant terpene profile, and a flavor that hits like a citrus-cherry soda with a gassy backend. The high comes on fast—euphoric and giggly out the gate, mellowing into a focused, social headspace with a relaxing but never couch-lock body buzz. Built for any time of day—a creative session, a movie night, or hanging with friends.
