Lineage: Unknown, but possibly has the gennetics of a Mexican, Thai, and Afghani landraces.

Historical Context: The first known emergence of Trainwreck in Arcata, California---a city located in NorthCal's Emerald Triangle in the 1970s. It is alleged to be grown next abonadoned railroad tracks neccessary to transport the Redwood Tree lumber down the coast. Legend has it that two brothers crossed a Mexican xThai Sativa with an Afghani Indica, and while they were heading to harvest, train crashed neat their spot. In haste, they took the plant as quickly as possbile to flee the 5-0 and named the strain Trainwreck. The strain became a West Coast staple and then began to spread across the US in the 1980s.
