Skunk #1 Phenotype

Historical Context:

The introduction of UK Cheese and the development of a flourishing cannabis culture in the UK, go hand-in-hand. First of all, UK Cheese came from a Skunk #1 phenotype, but because Skunks are not native to England, not many people understood the reference to its smell, so it was renamed “Cheese” to appeal to the consumers in the area.

Exodus Collective, early 90’s

Flavor and bake description:

Cheesy/skunky flavor and aroma, with hints of sweetness, spice, and berries. Pain relieving qualities, 

Dominant Terpenes:

Limonene, Beta-Caryophyllene, Beta-Myrcene
